In a time when many, using shallow definitions, tend to exorcise the complexity, here we are trying to compose together, by analogies, with “child” tiles, a mosaic in order to operate in the real world, with real children in the present and in future!

WINDOWS ON CHILDHOOD
Examples such as windows open. And looking through we can see the children. Not only sons and daughters, students, small consumers, the younger generation filtered through our values, desires and stereotypes. By successive approximations, by a willful and curious juxtaposition of points of view, we can see the real children, even with their own approach to the world, their insights and ingenuity, their multifaceted culture in flux.
Beyond rational thought, we understand the reality also by intuition, analogy, empathy,
emotion. And as we approach to art or music, without claiming to explain in words,
so we try to do well with children, that share only part of the language and the
thought of adults, and live and act in a border on which we do not have full jurisdiction.
Areas of experience, which differ and intersect. Areas known or strange, startling or trivial, in which children, with much or little originality, however, move and live.
Words, images, sounds, analogies, impressions, clips from experiences reported and documented by adult educators ... The modern technological means of reproduction, processing, sharing of reality, do allow the most extreme fakes, but also to communicate things in a very direct way.
And who knows kids, if the documents are honest, recognize them!
Examples of windows divided by "areas" to allow a beginning of reflection, discussion, but above all to call for a collective writing in order not to assert theories, but to know the children and their world in the reality, to understand better thanks to the combination of points of view, the curious accumulation, the comparison of different material.
